History

Brussels Airlines was born on the 7 November 2006 from the marriage between SN Brussels Airlines, the largest full service Belgian airline – and Virgin Express, the first European low cost airline. Brussels Airlines will spread its wings for the first time on the 25 March 2007. 

Both SN Brussels Airlines and Virgin Express have always enjoyed an excellent reputation for punctuality, reliability and value for money - and Brussels Airlines will continue to uphold these values. Although Brussels Airlines is at the forefront of a new era in aviation, the airline is built on the knowledge of over 80 years of Belgian aviation experience.
