Brussels Airlines is proud to be part of Star Alliance. On December 11th 2008 Brussels Airlines was officially invited to join Star Alliance. On 9 December 2009 the integration of Brussels Airlines into the Star Alliance was effective.
The Star Alliance network is the global leading airline network, in terms of daily flights, destinations and countries flown to and amount of member airlines. It was established in 1997 as the first truly global airline alliance to offer customers worldwide reach and a smooth travel experience.
